Smart Snacking during the day can satisfy your hunger and increase your cognition.


One of my all time favorite brain healthy snacks is POPCORN


Kernal Knowledge ;

1 oz of popcorn  = .9 grams of iron. 

High in Fiber so it will take more time to digest and we will stay fuller longer. Win Win.

Low in Saturated Fat (no butter or cheese )

 

Some Simple Swaps for popcorn toppings to enjoy these  Brain Strong Goodies.

Olive oil instead of Butter

Nutritional Yeast instead of cheese
